Started diving in Redang Island, Malaysia since 1992. 

From then on, Richard has been diving extensively in the East and West Coast of the Malaysian Peninsula. His dive travels has taken him as far off as the Sipadan Island, Mabul, Kapalai, Maldives, Sangalaki, Manado, Lembeh, Bunaken, & Bali in Indonesia, Similan Islands & Haeng Deng in Thailand, The Red Sea. 

With his vast diving experience, he decided to turn his passion into a profession and went on to become a PADI Instructor since 2001. 

In 2002, he ventured into underwater photography with a Sony compact camera and today shoots with a Canon Dslr in a Sea & Sea system. 

His work in Underwater Photography has also been published, which he also writes for in various magazines and newspaper. His images are also used commercially by corporate companies. 

He also teaches the PADI U/W Photography course and work closely with Malaysia.
