Jason Gan

Jason graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Tropical Environmental Biology from Monash University Malaysia before becoming an intern with Lang Tengah Turtle Watch in 2019. He quickly fell in love with sea turtle conservation and joined on full time as a site manager in the following years. He will never forget the first time he saw a critically endangered hawksbill turtle lay over 150 eggs, or the time a green turtle mother returned to the ocean as the early morning sun rose on the Terengganu shoreline. Currently, Jason works as an environmental consultant in Kuala Lumpur, but sea turtles are never far from his heart and mind.
